Elinor Cohen, a.k.a The Social Fairy, is an Engagement Strategist (a combination of Community Management, Content Marketing, Online Marketing and Social PR), dedicated to helping brands grow, evolve and engage. Focused on the Human aspect of anything and everything around us and remembering that all business is done with and between people, she works with brands to help them evolve and adopt the B2P approach – Business to People. Based in the world’s innovation hub – Israel, the Start-up nation – Elinor is working globally with brands from around the world. Founder of The Social Fairy (2012) and Co-Founder of The Engagement Strategy Group (2015). I started out as a Community Manager, but very quickly realized that what I can do and what I provide my clients with, is far more than just Community Management. You see, Community Management is not just about ads, websites and social media. Community Management is about HumanExperience, Connectionand Communication! So as it turned out, I took what is called a "Community Manager" and expanded it. I have been doing more than just online customer service and Social Media management. I have been creating worlds of content for brands, hacking the growth of Start-ups, planning and launching services, products, crowd funding campaigns, doing PR online, Investor relations, blogger relations and so much more. I took Community Management to the next level and introduced the Engagement Strategy. In 2011 I started working on the idea of the Social Fairy and helping some clients. Early January 2012 I founded the Social Fairy officially. It had its ups and downs but overall my “baby” survives and many brands, companies, start-ups and accelerator programs have been enjoying growth and success by adopting the notion of Community Management and expanded Engagement Strategy. I love to study (yes, you can say it... I'm a geek!), read books, photograph and cook. I write poetry and paint and I am a crazy cat lady! I have a gift for languages and I speak 6 of them.
